The Photocell Receptacle is a reliable interface designed for outdoor lighting fixtures, enabling easy connection between a photocontrol and the luminaire. Designed for NEMA-compatible lighting systems, it provides a secure and standardized connection for automatic dusk-to-dawn lighting control.
By integrating a compatible photocontrol, the receptacle allows outdoor lighting fixtures to automatically switch ON at low ambient light levels and OFF during daylight, helping reduce unnecessary energy consumption and simplify lighting management.
Available in 3-pin, 5-pin, and 7-pin configurations, the receptacle can support different levels of lighting control, from basic ON/OFF photocontrol to dimming and advanced smart lighting applications.
3 pin photocell has 3 prong outside; 5 pin photocell has 3 prong as well, but has two extra copper contact; 7 pin NEMA photocell sensor also have 3 long prong but has 4 copper dimming contacts.
